My experience has been awesome. Every night I get online with my programmer about 9pm, which is the beginning of the day for him. It’s so nice that with vteams there is a set time for my programmer to be online. In the past, I never knew when I could get a hold of my programmer.
“I’d never really used a virtual team, but I had used some off-shoring. With the off-shoring, through sites like getafreelancer.com and elance.com where people bid on your project, I’d had three years of bad experiences. There was always difficulty communicating, project would be completed incorrectly, people would rotate on my project so one programmer would just pick up where another left off, so no one ever knew what was going on. Right before I found vteams, I’d been working with a team for about seven months who’d underbid the project. They kept demanding more money and I kept paying, until I got to the point where I decided I wouldn’t pay anymore. Then, all the developers quit and I was left basically a year behind schedule and having wasted energy and money that I couldn’t get back with a project that was only 50% complete.
That’s when I came across vteams on a search engine ad. Even though I have 25-30 websites, I have no business being in the online industry. I have no clue about programming or technicalities. And, without a good programmer I’ve learned I’m wasting time money and energy. So, I was looking for a PHP designer to take over the challenge I’d been left with. I ended up chatting with Mark on Skype and over the phone and he really made me feel comfortable about the process vteams uses and I figured I’d give it a shot. Mark had explained that I could have as many people as I wanted dedicated to my project and none other. In my previous experience, my programmers always worked on several projects at once, it was a real mess. Mark explained to me the guarantee, that I could try it for 30 days and if I didn’t like it I could walk away. Vteams was a no loose choice for me. I wanted to give a shot and see if it was different.
My experience has been awesome. Every night I get online with my programmer about 9pm, which is the beginning of the day for him. It’s so nice that with vteams there is a set time for my programmer to be online. In the past, I never knew when I could get a hold of my programmer. I speak to him about the previous day, knock out any issues and move on to the new projects for that day. We stay online for a couple of hours and then I can go to bed knowing that he knows exactly what to work on. I think I really lucked out with my guy. We’ve developed a great relationship. He understands everything, which is very nice. A lot of my past programmers have had trouble with English. And, even with one or two words being misinterpreted, the project can easily go in the complete wrong direction and you can loose a month worth of work. So far with my vteams programmer, and Mark, it’s been really great to communicate and he actually grasps it. Or, if he’s confused, he asked enough questions so he’s 100% sure. He never just takes what I say and go the direction he thinks is best.
I wish I’d have found this service three years ago. I don’t know if I would change a thing about vteams. It’s the ideal setup for me. Maybe, if I want to add guys I might change something. But right now I’ve got the ideal programmer and the ideal situation.”
